discovered at approximately 9:30 a.m. on November 27, 2007. Her body was
found by a church group at a park on the south side of Lake Overholser.

It's been 9 years. And while I still have complete and total faith in the FBI, I really don't understand why one of the world's most sophisticated group of investigators has not resolved this case. No disrespect intended! I just don't get it. And after all this time, the analogy 'every dog has it's day' doesn't satisfy the insatiable thirst for answers surrounding Denise's death.
Can this case please be reviewed again using new technology to try to positively identify her killer?
Is there anything an individual, like myself, can do to promote another review of the case?
Also, did the prime suspect, Don Stice, ever get the life insurance pay out?

In about 1972 I was 16 yrs old hitchhicking home to (Cardiff CA) on Hwy 101, just N of Oceanside CA. I had been hitchhiking for about 3 yrs and had a nimber of close calls but this night has always stud out....long before I ever heard of Ted Bundy. It stud out because of the pure evil that I felt with in a few minutes of geting is cream colored VW bug. I new he was bad and I had my hand on the door before he ever opened his mouth. I remember he had brownish-black wavy hair. It was about a 25 minute drive. The conversation was very light until I tried to get him to let me off at the 101 Cardiff exit, he would not let me get out and insisted on taking me to my house. I got angry/scared because he became visable evil he he asked me why I had my hand on the door...I think I said something to try and not to insult him....he than began saying things like did you think I was going to rape you, did you think I in disgusting detail of what he thought I might be thinking. From there he began telling me how he could kill me in detail. He seemed to enjoy my fear. He than passed my house. There was a man out side as he passed my house...I told him that was my Dad and he had seen me go by in the car...It was not my Dad ....but I think he belive me and pulled over...AS I got out of that VW I remember the look of evil in his face /eyes...he than said many horable things about my looks and said I was only getting out because I was not his type. I new that I was lucky to be alive and he was evil like I had never been with before.

As the years have gone by I never forgot that expireance, latter I saw pictures of Ted Bundy and it looked like him, altho this guy was about 20 lbs heavier than most of the pics I have seen. At the time what I read did not fit with the time or location of his crimes....So I wrote it of to a look a like of Ted bundy. But now I have read info that sounds like he may have been in the area....who knows. Can't believe I was ever that stupid...Hitchhicking

I haven't deleted a damn thing and you know it. If you are going to accuse me of lying, I think your time here may be at an end.

Edit: I even checked to see if you had any comments pending moderation. That was not the case. You just can't come up with anything truthful, so you lie and even slander me. I have told nothing but the truth here. That is accurate.

Furthermore, why would I delete comments and then not delete the comment accusing me of deleting them? I have nothing to hide. You have nothing to show.

The source was Cody's MySpace page, a result of my own investigation into the case. Her quote: “I love you. I love you so much and I am doing what I can. His divorce was ending but things were not "looking good" as you state. There was no mention of a new hot girlfriend in the court records. He was not going to be getting his boys. Hence the horrible desperate decision to do what he did. I would really like to know your sources to the girlfriend plot.

But if you had read my first comment I clearly stated what truth I found in your "article". Once again this "article" was clear opinion. Cody Harp succumbed to what a lot of single fathers do. It's called desperation. I will not justify what he did because it was wrong. And he will be the first one to tell you it was wrong. Cody drove from Texarkana to Eureka Springs every week to work all the while Trish ran wild. Her parents are the ones who took care of his boys while she was living with a registered sex offender. Cody was trying to provide a safe environment for his boys when the courts were siding with the mother. This is all documented in the sworn custody affidavits. Once again it is NOT right what he did. Cody is a very well educated, hard working, and giving man who panicked. He made a huge mistake and will pay for it for the rest of his life. This article is so filled full of holes and makes me ill. This is not journalism. This is disgusting.

I do believe Lorenzo was the killer they have tire tracks from his house leading to the burial site, he was taking her body to bury it there or somewhere when her boyfriend/pimp shot and killed him...either way he was a rapist scum bag who we know committed at least one murder!

You need to look at more than one letter. For instance, his early letters all had looped "d's". His writing style changes so drastically, as he tries harder to disguise his handwriting. He makes the majority of his "o's" starting on the left, counterclockwise, but occasionally makes them the opposite way. Does this indicate a split personality?

5 years later and there is still no justice for my friend. Just knowing the parties that were invovled are still going about their day as if nothing has happened is hurtful.
